East Carolina University is meeting the needs of pharmaceutical manufacturing through educational opportunities and groundbreaking research with the Eastern Region Pharma Center, a leader in workforce development for this growing industry. Housed in ECU’s new Life Sciences and Biotechnology building, the center works in partnership with 15 pharmaceutical companies and five regional community colleges.
Community colleges across eastern North Carolina offer training programs and certificates specific to careers in biotechnology and life sciences.
