The system of care includes 1,708 beds across an academic medical center with two campuses, affiliated with The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. ECU Health Medical Center is a 974-bed, Level I trauma center and tertiary care referral center that offers extensive inpatient and outpatient services. Based in Greenville, the Medical Center is the flagship hospital of ECU Health.
